Bhiksha in Hinduism

A wealthy woman fulling her vow to Kashi Vishwanath, made at a time when her father was afflicted with Corona. 

A vow to seek Bhiksha in Kashi and fulfil her hunger for an entire day with the Bhiksha recieved.

Bhiksha is not begging. There is no translation that does justice to the spirit of 'Bhiksha'.

The seeker must give up his ego, his pride and recieve with gratitude, whatever people offer.

The giver must give without condescension,  knowing that he is privileged to have the opportunity to give. He must give without doer-ship, knowing that what he gives, he does not own. Also, he must give away the best he has.

The spirit of bhiksha is knowing, on the part of both the giver and the receiver, that this life itself, is not ours, but an offering, a bhiksha, from God !

What's with Infosys and Sheldon Pollock?

My guess, Murthy, a Kannada Brahmin, is not leftist nor Hinduphobic. 

Remember the VISA trouble? The consulate alleged that Infosys had misused business visas to send people abroad to do 'actual work' and not just attend business meetings, and levied a fine of several lakhs or crores? 

It occured to me a few days ago that the Deep State actually went after Inf0sys and the most revered Murthys and made an issue of the VISAS just so they could use that as a leverage and negotiate with Murthy and Infy to admit Trojan horse Sheldon P0llock and thus infiltrate our system, our academia, our literay space.

All software companies use business VISAS the same way. Infy isn't doing anything that no one else is. But infy was the chosen one for its reputation, its credibility, for the respect that Murthy commanded. 

Remember the statement Sudha Murthy made about Humayun offering protection to queen Karnavati and hence starting Rakshabandhan? 

I believe the couple are under pressure, under threat by the Deep State to act in line with their leftist anti Hindu agenda or face the music. 

This is my guess, my hunch and it's not based on any evidence.
