When the Right Minded Came Out of the Closet

My FB post 2 years ago...

With the number of famous people visiting Ayodhya and singing Jai Shri Ram, from all spheres - actors, singers, dancers, writers, sportsmen, industrialists, other public figures, even media!... the leftist cabal must be suddenly taken by surprise. They must be feeling lonely, insecure and overwhelmed! They did not expect this kind of turnout.

They did not expect so many supporters in our camp.
Its the people that have come out of the closet, in lakhs and crores that has added to our numbers. Like the iceberg, we, the vocal right wingers, were the tip of the Saffron brigade. Beneath the calm waters, shy in the closet, was a vast sea of right minded Hindus who just didn't have it in them to come out in the open.
For fear of upsetting their muzlym Christian friends, colleagues, classmates and neighbors. For fear of appearing uncool, regressive, small town and so on.

With the coming of Modi era, doodh ka doodh and paani ka paani ho gaya.

The shy drew courage from the likes of us who did not relent, who did not hesitate to call a spade a spade, who named and shamed every leftist liberal hypocrite, who coined powerful labels such as sickular, chrislammocommie, presstitute, love jihad, RNDTV, who lost friends and even relatives to our ideology.
December 6th!, that they tried to call Lajja Divas, we turned into Shaurya Divas, with our conviction, persistence and confidence.

The shy saw us and became emboldened to come out of the closet, riase their heads, and call themselves Hindu without feeling ashamed or embarrassed.
We had made saffrom cool.

We laughed at ourselves, said we were paper tigers, keyboard warriors and so on, but here you go, our raving and ranting on FB and WhatsApp has brought thousands out of the closet. We are redeemed.

Redeemed are the Hindus who are no longer ashamed to shout Jai shri Ram and redeemed are we, who pig headedly fought on, despite several bans on Facebook and threats of sar tan se juda hanging out there, that could befall any of us.
